Ni-Cheng Liang, MD is a wife, mother, cancer survivor, award-winning pulmonologist and mindfulness teacher. She currently practices pulmonary medicine at Coastal Pulmonary Associates, affiliated with Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas in California, as the Director of Pulmonary Integrative Medicine, and is voluntary faculty at the UC San Diego medical-student run free clinic. She is a qualified Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Instructor and attended a teacher training intensive at the University of Rochester Mindful Practice program. She leads national presentations, courses, retreats, and workshops on mindfulness, healthcare professional wellness, integrative and pulmonary medicine to patients, and all members of the healthcare team inclusive of all levels of trainees. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, paddleboarding and dragon boat racing with Team Survivor Sea Dragons, a team comprised of women cancer survivors.
